Through independent brokers, Arch Insurance Company (Europe) Limited (Arch Europe)
provides specialised property and liability insurance programmes to a wide
range of industrial and commercial companies and financial institutions from
our head office in London, UK, and affiliated office in Bremen, Germany.
Arch Europe is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Arch Capital Group Ltd. a
Bermuda-based company that underwrites insurance and reinsurance worldwide
through its operations in Bermuda, the United States of America, Canada and

Arch Syndicate 2012
In March 2009, Arch Europe received approval from the Lloyd's Franchise Board to
establish Syndicate 2012, a new syndicate at Lloyd's. Syndicate 2012 is managed by Arch
Underwriting at Lloyd's Ltd, a newly created managing agent authorised by the FSA.
The syndicate commenced underwriting risks from April 1, 2009. For more information about
